Reflection:

I appreciate 100 times more every single audio and video editor out there. This project was fun, but very time consuming. Following the instructions of recording and audio editing first, and then compressing it to combine with the images wasn't the easiest route for me. I ended up redoing the audio/music multiple times to fit with the way I wanted the video to look.

I learned a lot about both audio and video editing during this assignment and I am excited to work with these programs more.

I think creating podcasts and educational videos like this will definitely be a useful tool for my future classroom. I would like to utilize this technology not only for me as an educator to help my students learn in different ways, but also to have them create projects similar to this to get them acquainted with the technology.

Podcast Script:

My work is always fluctuating. It switches paths, flips inside out, and is never quite finished.

I was raised by two architects in an ever-changing home.

Additions, renovations, carpets painted on the floor, jungle gyms on construction sites.

As I grew up so did the space I lived in

This home where my parents are always dreaming up different ways to utilize the framework, is the core of my ability to adjust to my surroundings.

It is where I became an artist, where I Learned to draw and sew. Where I lined up colored pencils on the ground creating pathways for ladybugs to walk on, making a map of roadways along the raw wood floors.

The pieces I make today are woven, dyed, and sewn over and over again. They are drawn on, sketched on, worn out and framed.

They grow as the mind and the skin of a child grows. They adapt and adjust and like my parents home, I never know when  or how they might change next.
